Join the Waterman Challenge

A paddleboard race from Swami’s Beach to Windansea Beach

When: July 10, 2021

Where: Swami’s Beach (Encinitas, California) to Windansea Beach (La Jolla, California)

The Waterman Challenge is a challenging 15-mile open ocean course down the coast of San Diego, California from Swami’s to Windansea Beach—the longest continuous running paddleboard race in the world. The race start will consist of a water start outside the surfline at Swami’s Beach Park and the finish will be at the north end of Windansea Beach. This event continues to be a favorite among traditional paddlers with its challenging course and the waterman spirit shared by all of the participants. The Waterman Challenge is brought to you by North County Paddle Events (NCPE). Join the event as a participant or come out to show your support and cheer everyone on!

Race proceeds benefit the Sarcoma Alliance and Just In Time For Foster Youth

Please note that all race participants must pre-register.
