DESCRIPTION:Hennessey’s Taverns of California hosts Hennessey’s SUP & Paddleboard Racing Series. This event will have a pro course of 6\, 8 or 9  miles\, depending on the board class\, plus a 4-mile fun course. Many Ocean of Hope team members will compete. \nThe race will start and finish adjacent to the Doheny Main Lifeguard Tower. Courses will be set using GPS and may change based on prevailing weather conditions. Elite races are anticipated to be beach start and beach finish\, but may change per surf and tide conditions. Recreational races are anticipated to be water start and beach finish\, but may change per surf and tide conditions.

DESCRIPTION:Celebrate — or recover from — Father’s Day with live music to raise money for the Sarcoma Alliance. The acclaimed Jazz Combo of the First Unitarian Church of Dallas will perform first\, followed by the rock band\, Merry and the Mood Swings\, a 2010 Grammy contender. \nThe $30 tickets can be bought on our donate page; please put “Dallas” in the comment section for PayPal. Checks also can be made out to the Sarcoma Alliance\, with “Dallas” in the note section\, and given to one of the organizers or mailed to Sarcoma Alliance\, 775 East Blithedale #334\, Mill Valley\, CA 94941. Sarcoma survivors who cannot afford to attend should contact us. We want you to join us! \nIn addition to delicious food and drink\, people can donate $10 for 2 tickets for beer or wine. A silent auction will feature jewelry; vintage women’s clothes from the ’60s; and more. We would be grateful to anyone who could donate food\, drink or items for our silent auction.
