SUMMARY:8th Annual Bob A. Ferretti 5k Walk/Run for Sarcoma
DESCRIPTION:At the age of 24 Bob Ferretti fell victim to the deadly disease of leiomyosarcoma on September 21st\, 2005.  The walk is in memory of Bob and dedicated to fighting the battle against this rare form of cancer.  The school is located at the corner of Blackhorse Pike and Marshall Ave in Blackwood\, NJ.

SUMMARY:7th Annual Putts for Ped
DESCRIPTION:This year marks the seventy year of Putts for Ped a golf outing in memory of Michael John Pedrick for the benefit of the Sarcoma Alliance.  Since its inception in 2007\, Putts for Ped has raised 0ver $67\,000 for the Sarcoma Alliance. It is a fun filled day beginning with registration 11:00-12:30 AM.  Golf begins at 1:00 PM and is followed by a buffet dinner\, Chinese auction and raffle.  The cost is $100 for a round of golf and dinner; dinner only $25.  For more information download the flyer. DESCRIPTION:The 2014 Carolina Cup kicks off the race season with 4 courses: a kids race\, the Harbor Island Recreational “fun” race\, an Money Island open race and the dreaded Graveyard Elite Race. This is our forth year. In 2012\, the Carolina Cup was the largest race on the East Coast with over 400 paddlers competing in the first day of races. In 2013\, we had over 600. The race start will consist of a water start outside the surfline at Swami’s Beach Park and the finish will be at the north end of Windansea Beach. This event continues to be a favorite among traditional paddlers with its challenging course and the waterman spirit shared by all of the participants.
