ASCO‘s annual meeting draws thousands of oncologists from around the world. Arthur Beckert, executive director of the Alliance, will staff an informational booth in the exhibit hall, along with our sister organization, the Sarcoma Foundation of America. He will attend presentations on sarcoma to learn about the latest research and treatments and discuss sarcoma advocacy with representatives of other nonprofits. ASCO’s website has links to previous presentations on sarcoma, for those who would like to learn more.
SARC, a nonprofit consortium of sarcoma physicians who conduct collaborative clinical trials, holds a biannual meeting at ASCO and CTOS each year. Arthur Beckert, executive director of the Alliance, attends to hear the latest on clinical trials and other sarcoma research. SARC’s website also has much useful information. By the way, some people confuse our nonprofit with SARC.
