Arthur graduated from UCLA with a Master’s in Health Planning from the School of Public Health and Business School. He spent the first part of his career in health care working for the California Medical Association, San Francisco General Hospital and Blue Shield of California. Next, he worked for Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc. a national non profit based in New York which provides new children’s product, clothing, shoes, toys, etc, to smaller organizations across the United States. As Executive Director, the Sarcoma Alliance allows him to join his health background with his non profit experience. He is very excited about working to enhance the Alliance’s programs and to give it greater national prominence. Arthur is married with three grown children. He loves to garden, run in the hills of Marin County, and travel.
Pam joined the Alliance in June 2006 as its office manager. She brings to the Alliance a strong background in health delivery and office management. Prior to joining the Alliance she was a staff nurse, utilization review coordinator and an office manager for a busy medical practice. She enjoys working for the Alliance where she has an opportunity a give so much to the sarcoma community.
